Hi from Melbourne. I started my home automation journey 7 years ago with a question about using Google Home with my Logitech Universal Remote. I soon discovered Home Assistant and it has certainly changed my home. I wanted a budget friendly and (where possible) internet independent automated home. Succeeded with the first and mostly with the second. There is always something new to work on.
