Do you still find yourself showing off your smart automation setup to guests, or has it just become part of daily life? Do you demo the automated lights, heating, and smart audio?

Once in a while, yeah. Mostly for family visits hahaha! they still think the thermostat adjusting itself is black magic. For me, it’s just Tuesday at this point.

I only show it off when it actually works perfectly hahahah! which isn’t always, hahah!! Last time I tried, my lights didn’t respond and I had to pretend it was “intentional mood lighting.”

it stopped being a “show off” thing and just became normal. I only point it out when someone asks why the lights behave themselves or why the house warms up before anyone’s awake. Otherwise it’s just background tech doing its job.
