Any small habits you’ve picked up that keep your smart home running smoother? Some people restart their router once a week, others re sync sensors before bed, and a few just check everything quickly through their hub. Curious which little routine has actually helped keep your setup stable.

I’ve kinda learned that my smart home behaves like a cranky game server. A quick weekly reboot of the router and hub keeps things from slipping into lag mode. I also clear out devices I’m not using anymore since ghosts in the device list cause random delays.

I do a quick Sunday check just to make sure nothing drifted. Not a full reset, just a glance at the hub, a battery check, and making sure the chatty devices aren’t clogging things up. It keeps the week smoother.
