LiteTouch 5000LC conversion software error

I’m working on a 20YO LiteTouch 5000LC and trying to pull the program as a roadmap for a replacement
using LiteWare 3.8 Hybrid, I successfully downloaded the program, but importing the .prg file triggers errors. it says Could not create an unknown module for address 3 and Error encountered importing .prg file. Status: Assigning Loads
I can print the Loads, but Stations won’t open. has anyone run into this?

I’m also looking to switch to Lutron, Crestron, or Vantage. since I program industrial controls, I want a system I can set up myself without a dealer.
this is a simple On/Off/Dim setup. what are the DIY pros and cons for these brands?

Do you know if address 3 maps to a specific dimming module or a keypad station on that system. I’ve seen older systems get weird when one module is missing or replaced and the software import gets stuck at “Assigning Loads.” If you can isolate that one address and temporarily remove it from the import, you might get Stations back for everything else.

On 20 year old LiteTouch, import errors can be a LiteWare version or file integrity issue. If you have access to another machine, try a clean install of LiteWare 3.8 Hybrid and re-import the same .prg to rule out a local install corruption. Also try re-downloading from the controller and save a fresh copy under a new filename, sometimes the first pull is “mostly fine” but the station table gets corrupted.
