My HVAC automation ran flawlessly through the summer, but now that AC use is tapering off, I’m starting to wonder if it’s still as efficient as before. The system doesn’t run as often, so I think the sensors are reacting slower or maybe the temperature swings are tricking it. The mornings get chilly, but by the afternoon the house feels warm again, and sometimes the thermostat doesn’t catch up fast enough.
How’s everyone else’s setup doing in this kind of weather? Are you tweaking your routines for fall or just letting the automation figure it out? I’m trying to see if it’s worth resetting my temperature thresholds or just letting it ride until winter really kicks in.
