Get a notification or a hallway light flash if the washer's done but the dryer's been idle for 30mins. Sync your calendar to make the garage lights blink or get a voice alert the night before trash day. A door sensor can also trigger a voice message or flash the kitchen lights if the fridge is left open for over 2mins.
