Lighting up a Narnia nursery

I'm working on a Narnia-themed nursery and I'm hoping to get some suggestions for a smart bulb. I'm building a lamppost for the room and I'd love for the bulb to have a flickering "flame" effect, but I also need it to be able to switch to a regular white light. I've seen a bunch of bulbs that only do the flame effect and that's just not going to work. I mostly use Kasa products but I'm open to trying a different brand if it has the right features.

What smart bulbs have you seen that can do both a flame effect and a normal light? Any tips will be helpful!

You should check out Philips Hue bulbs! They have candle and fireplace settings that look like flickering flames. Plus, you can change them to regular white light when you want. They're pretty useful for setting different atmospheres

That's a cool idea for a nursery! Since you're already in the Kasa ecosystem, check the Kasa multicolor bulb, like the KL130 or KL135 then create a custom scene in the app. You can program the scene to cycle quickly through warm oranges, yellows, and reds at different brightness to mimic a flickering flame. You can then have a separate scene for a pure white light. It's still a workaround, but it gets the job done. The LIFX Candle Color is also a great option. That's a bit more expensive but it has the true flicker effect built right into the app and also produces a great white light. It integrates well with most smart home platforms like Alexa and Google Assistant so you can use voice control.
